Hello, my name is Thunderstorm, but you can call me Thunder (if you're my friend; anyway, I don't have friends), and Storm (if you're unknown to me). Thunderstorm is my OC, and he lives in ThunderClan. He's a half-Clan cat, half ThunderClan and half RiverClan. His father is Stormcloud and his mother is Amberflower (she always wears an orange flower on her head). Moreover, he's loyal, over-protective and strict. He's a tall, lean, tom. Thunderstorm's fighting skills are excellent.
His short story:
When he was a kit, he received a prophecy from Goosefeather, the previous medicine cat, to become a medicine cat apprentice, thus becoming one. On the day before he was going to become a true medicine cat, he again received a prophecy from Goosefeather to become a warrior.
The next day, Thunderpaw had declared at sun-high that he would become a warrior instead. Sunstar, the leader of ThunderClan, happily agreed this and it came as a shock when this was announced in the Clan meet. Even his mother fainted at this, for she so wanted her son to become a loyal, dedicated warrior. Sunstar appointed his mentor as Longtail. Longtail was strict and made Thunderpaw work really hard.
Many times he was insulted by a particular cat called Robinwing. She loathed half-Clan cats, and before Thunderstorm was born, she was told by Goosefeather that he alone was destined to save the Clans. At this, Robinwing spat at Amberflower and despised Amberflower's kit and said that Thunderkit would just be a traitor and a useless kit. Amberflower retorts back and says that every kit in a Clan is useful, and her kit is even more than useful.
Despite this, he was supported by some cats in his Clan. His most trusted friend as an apprentice was Thrushpelt, who also later on, as a warrior remained a loyal friend throughout Thunderstorm's life. Thrushpelt always had given him advice and had always been at his side. At Thunderpaw's ceremony, he receives the name Thunderstorm. Here's how his ceremony went:
"I, Sunstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Thunderpaw, Thrushpaw, Snowpaw, and Bluepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Thunderpaw, Thrushpaw, Snowpaw and Bluepaw said in unison, "I do."
"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names: Thunderpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Thunderstorm. StarClan honors your hard work and dedication, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.
Thrushpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Thrushpelt. StarClan honors your loyalty and bravery, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.
Snowpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Snowfur. StarClan honors your kindness and compassion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.
Bluepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Bluefur. StarClan honors your bravery and your strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan. May you all serve your Clan well for moons to come. Our new warriors will sit for vigil tonight."
Everyone yowled, their heads up to watch Sunstar as he stops, "Thunderstorm! Thrushpelt! Snowfur! Bluefur!"
"Thunderstorm! Thrushpelt! Snowfur! Bluefur!"
The words rang in Thunderstorm's ear as he licked Sunstar's shoulder, with Sunstar's muzzle on his forehead. Snowfur, Bluefur and Thrushpelt did the same. Snowfur glanced at him once and quickly turned, padding towards the camp entrance. So did Bluefur and Thrushpelt. Thunderstorm gazed at them and watched as the rest of the Clan went back to their duties. Shaking his gaze from Snowfur, he lowered his head down and followed the new warriors.
End.
